Our Department of Italian language and culture offers a permanent programme of residential courses addressed to foreign students. For further details about each course apply to our office.
DURING THE YEAR
Extensive courses in Italian Language and Culture.
These courses can be attended for 1, 2 or 3 terms and last from from October to June. Lessons are held twice a week and provide 36 hours of tuition per term. At the end of the course students can sit for the PLIDA examinations of Società Dante Alighieri and get a certificate recognized by Italian authorities. These certificates allow students to access Italian universities, including our college, or to obtain a VISA to live and work in Italy.
Our college organizes each year a Summer School (July and August) offering intensive and residential courses in Italian as a foreign language for general purposes addressed to adult people only (18+).
Italian for General Purposes.
Each course lasts from a minimum of 2 up to 4 weeks and provides 4 hours of class tuition per day from Monday to Friday. Moreover this programme is enriched by afternoon activities indoor and outdoor focusing on: Arts, Culture, Cooking, food and wine tasting, traditional events like the Palio dell’Assunta in August, beach sports and social events. During the week-end guided excursions are organized to visit Rome, Florence and other places of interest in central Italy. Accommodation is provided in Hotel, Bed&Breakfast or in a Students’ Residence. These courses are ideal also for students and teachers applying for a mobility scholarship under the European programme Erasmus +.
Glottodrama Courses in Italian.
Each summer we organize, in collaboration with the Glottodrama Academy, some 2-week intensive courses based on the original method Glottodrama (learning languages through Drama). These workshops are suitable both for beginners and advanced students and are aimed to improve oral fluency and to acquire a better command of public speaking.
All these courses are suitable also for students and teachers applying for a mobility scholarship under the European Programme Erasmus+.
